"You have to check at least one feature to continue installation" error message during FineReader Server 14 installation

If in the installation logs you could find the following line:

AbbyyDigitalDocuments, state: Present, cached: Complete

The issue is related to Apache Open Office which was uninstalled incorrectly. Please follow the instruction:

  1. In cmd run following commands to delete Apache Open Office:

msiexec /X {DCA10000-0003-0000-0000-074957833700}
msiexec /X {DCA10000-0002-0000-0000-074957833700}
msiexec /X {DCA10000-0001-0000-0000-074957833700}
  1. Try installing the program again.
