Choosing more than 5 languages for recognition in FineReader Server 14

We do not recommend choosing more than 5 languages as the more recognition languages you choose, the more recognition hypotheses there will be. This will increase recognition time and can lead to recognition errors.

If you often need to use the same number of languages, you can use one of the following workarounds:

  1. Create a language group (open the Verification Station, go to Help > Specifying Document Languages > Creating a Language Group);
  2. Create a new recognition language (open the Verification Station, go to Help > Specifying Document Languages > Creating a New Recognition Language);
  3. Distribute the workload among multiple workflows with less than 5 languages specified in each one.
