How to protect a PDF document in FineReader Pro for Mac

A confidential PDF document can be encrypted and protected with a password. Only people who know the password will be able to decrypt, open, print, and copy content from the document.

To encrypt PDF file follow the steps below:

  1. Open the PDF document in FineReader Pro;
  2. Press Export > Next...> Security Settings;
  3. Set the needed options, create a password, and click Ok.
