Issue

When starting scanning in FineReader Pro for Mac the following message occurs:

The scan operation is canceled.
A required file is missing or corrupted, or settings are incorrect. Try the installation again.

Cause

The issue is connected with the scanner's driver.

Resolution

Please try to update the driver from the scanner manufacturer's website.
