How to split pages from the scanned book in FineReader application?

Answer

To split the pages automatically, enable the following setting in FineReader: Tools > Options > Image Processing > Split facing pages.

Note: This option is enabled by default.

The pages can be also split manually in the OCR Editor. For this open OCR Editor and click on Image Editor ​() > Split ​()​​. There are two options available: manual splitting by line (vertically or horizontally) and automatic split:
