Symptoms

When trying to use FlexiCapture in a Virtual Environment, the following error is shown:

Failed to run license ... License parameters do not allow usage in virtual environment on <address>

Cause

The option to support Virtual Machines is not included in the mentioned license.
Check the license parameters in ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 License Manager:

Resolution

If Virtual machines support is set as No, then please contact your ABBYY Sales Representative in order to activate it on the license.
