How to enable "Automatic task receive" mode for Web Stations in Internet Explorer?

Answer

Starting from FlexiCapture 12 R3 Update 1, each new task is opened in a new tab to optimize memory usage. It means that operators will not be able to receive new tasks automatically. To revert to the old behavior follow steps below:

  1. Open the C:\inetpub\wwwroot\FlexiCapture12\Verification\web.config file for the web station and set the IEVerificationNewWindow key to false.
  2. If the key doesn't exist, add it within appSettings as shown below:

    After that, the Automatic Task Receive option will be available:
