How to forcefully release the Concurrent or Remote User license of FineReader PDF in the License Manager?

Please note that in FineReader PDF the option has been included in admx/adml files:
Period of inactivity (hrs) after which license will be lost: M – Vacates the Concurrent / Remote User license after M hours of user inactivity (setting M=0 disables this option)

Note: for the Remote User license this will not remove the reservation itself, and will change the "In use" status back to the "Reserved for %Username%" status. After, the system administrator can reserve a license for another user in the License Manager.

To release a license manually, please follow the steps below:

1. In License Manager, reserve a license that needs to be set free for another workstation (for example, TestPC).
2. Close the License Manager on the server.
3. Restart the ABBYY FineReader Licensing Service on the server.
4. Open the License Manager. The license status will change to "Reserved for TestPC".
5. Start the License Manager and undo the license reservation.
