Symptoms

Processing of the file via Blue Prism Connector fails with the following error.

Error in Flexicapture Metabot Export logic: (dd/mm/yy hh:mm:ss pm) Error on Line 1: System.InvalidOperationException: Failed to get processing results from FlexiCapture 12 server. ---> System.TimeoutException: Processing timeout 00:05:00 seconds has been expired. The document is on the Import stage.

Cause

The timeout limit of 5 minutes has been reached.

Resolution

If you experience such timeout errors, the timeout value can be increased.

1. Open the Windows Registry Editor on the machine where Processing Station is installed.

2. Open the key Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\ABBYY\FlexiCapture\12.0\Connectors.

3. Add Timeout value. Type: DWORD. Specify the number of seconds for the timeout. Example:
