During the creation of IMAP/POP3 import Gmail profile after clicking the Browse... button the following errors may occur:
Unable to authenticate on IMAP server: [AUTHENTICATIONFAILED] Invalid credentials (Failure).
Unable to authenticate on POP3 server: [AUTHENTICATIONFAILED] Invalid credentials (Failure).
It may happen because Gmail servers are blocking FlexiCapture 12 connection attempts.
- Check if the usage protocol (IMAP or POP3) is enabled in Gmail settings:
- Check if Less secure app access option is turned on in the Security section of your Google Account Settings:
- Make sure that the SSL type of encrypted connection has been chosen in the import profile Settings:
