Symptoms

When installing the Verification station for ABBYY FlexiCapture 12 - dialog appears saying

"Please wait while the application is preparing for the first use".

The dialog does not automatically close and the install does not complete. No errors appear during the installation and everything appears to be ok.

Cause

Remote Desktop Session Host Windows Installer Service

Resolution

Disabling the Remote Desktop Session Host Windows Installer Service for the duration of the installation.
