How to receive better recognition results in FineReader PDF 16?

Answer

In order to get better OCR results, try changing the Resolution value for the document as follows:

1. Open the document in the OCR Editor.
2. Click on the option Edit Image on the toolbar (or press Ctrl+I):
   
3. Click Resolution.
4. Use the Detect Optimal Resolution option with All Pages selected, then click Apply:
   
5. Exit Image Editor.
6. Recognize the document again.
