How to save a scan in *.rtf format while working in FineReader for ScanSnap 5.5?

Answer

To save a file in *.rtf format, follow the steps:

  1. Launch ABBYY FineReader for ScanSnap 5.5 Settings.
  2. Go to General settings and select Edit file names before saving.

  3. Choose Scan to Word option while scanning.
  4. Select Rich Text Format (*.rtf) in Save As dialogue window.
