How to erase a part of the image in a document in FineReader PDF?
Answer
A part of the document's image can be deleted either in the PDF Editor or in the OCR Editor's Image Editor as described below:
PDF Editor
- Open a document in the PDF Editor.

For FineReader PDF version, go to the Security tab, click the Erase button on the toolbar and select the area to erase:
For FineReader PDF 15 version, select the Erase button on the toolbar > select the area to erase:
- Save the document after changes.
OCR Editor
- Open a document in the OCR Editor.
- Go to the Image Editor by clicking the Edit Image button on the toolbar of the Image pane, or by going to the menu Edit > Edit Page Images....
- Select the Eraser tool.
- Hold down the left mouse button and select the image fragment that should be erased.
- Click Exit Image Editor.
- Recognize and save a document.

As I understood it, this is done for one page only, correct?
In case I don't want the system to read a specific part on ALL PAGES. (headers and footers for exemple)
What's the procedure?
