How to remove the unnecessary area of a document in FineReader PDF?

Answer

This option is available in the Image Editor. Follow the steps to remove an area in a document:

  1. Open a document in the OCR Editor;
  2. Click Edit > Edit Page Images or Edit Image option in the menu;

  3. Select the Eraser tool;
  4. Hold down the left mouse button and select the image fragment that should be erased;
  5. Click Exit Image Editor;
  6. Recognize and save the document.

    As I understood it, this is done for one page only, correct?
    In case I don't want the system to read a specific part on ALL PAGES.  (headers and footers for exemple)

    What's the procedure?
