Changing default PDF viewer on Mac when working with FineReader PDF for Mac

How to disable opening the PDF documents in the FineReader PDF Viewer after saving? I’d like FineReader to open PDFs in my default PDF viewer (e.g. Preview), not in FineReader PDF Viewer.

Answer

Currently, the PDF documents saved in FineReader PDF for Mac are opened in the built-in FineReader PDF Viewer.

To disable opening the documents in the FineReader PDF Viewer, please uncheck the option Open the document after saving in the dialog window when saving a document:

In this case, the documents will not be opened in the FineReader PDF Viewer after saving.

To open a PDF document in your default PDF viewer, go to the folder, in which you saved it, and double-click it.
