While configuring IMAP import from the Gmail mailbox, the following message can occur, even if the credentials are correct:
This issue is caused by the Gmail mailbox security settings.
In order to fix it, log into your Gmail account > Manage your google account > Security > if your account still has a Less secure app access option and if its status is currently Off, then click on Turn on access (recommended) and turn it On. Then try again to configure the IMAP import profile.
