Question

After exporting the document to MS Word the converted file contains text boxes (text is surrounded with frames). How to get rid of the text boxes in the converted MS Word document?

Choose Formatted text or Editable Copy layout instead of Exact copy:

This can be set in one of the following ways:

1. On the OCR Editor toolbar as displayed in the screenshot above.
2. For FineReader PDF 16:
   2.1 Go to the File menu and select Options...
   2.2 Open Format Settings tab.
   2.3 In the DOC(X)/RTF/ODT settings set the corresponding Document layout and click OK. 
   For FineReader PDF 15:
   2.1. Go to the Tools menu and select Options...
   2.2 Open Format Settings tab.
   2.3 In the DOC(X)/RTF/ODT settings set the corresponding Document layout and click OK. 
3. 3.1 Choose to Save as Microsoft Word document.
   3.2 In the opened window go to Options...
   3.3 Set the corresponding Document layout and click OK.
