• Updated the license generation process to ensure backward compatibility across supported product versions while strengthening security.
  • Versions earlier than 6.2.1: continue to use the legacy hashing algorithm for license generation
  • Version 6.2.1 and later: use the new, more secure hashing algorithm

This enhancement addresses a security issue identified by Sonar, which flagged the legacy hashing algorithm. Because on-premises deployments running versions prior to 6.2.1 do not support the new decryption mechanism, the license generation service now automatically selects the appropriate hashing algorithm based on the target product version. This ensures seamless compatibility with existing deployments while improving security for newer releases.
