Question
How to remove hidden text and objects in a PDF document in FineReader PDF?
Answer
It is possible to delete hidden objects and data that do not occur in the body text of the document (e.g. comments, annotations, bookmarks, attachments, metadata, etc.). Please follow the steps below:
- Open a document in the PDF Editor.
- For FineReader PDF 16:
Go to the Security tab > click the Delete Objects and Data... button.
For FineReader PDF 15:
Click the arrow next to the button and select Delete Objects and Data.... - In the dialog box that opens, select the objects and data to delete and click Apply.
Please note that the process may take some time for larger files.
