ABBYY FineReader PDF 15 (for Windows) and ABBYY FineReader PDF for Mac are two different programs. They are designed for different versions of OS.

You can neither install the version for Windows OS on macOS or vice versa nor activate the version for macOS with a serial number from the Windows OS version or vice versa.

If you want to use FineReader software on both PC and Mac, you need to acquire separate licenses. Please note the differences in the functionality of the versions.
