Symptoms

Even if I modify the fields' formats in the Normalization settings in FlexiCapture 12, the output is not as expected - normalization settings do not apply at the export.

Cause

The described issue occurs because of the selected "Preserve value type on export" option in the Export Settings of the Document Definition. This option will use the format of the data type, suitable for the export destination.

Resolution

To resolve the issue disable this option, as shown below.
