How to save particular areas in a PDF file in FineReader PDF for Mac?

Answer

To save a PDF so that parts of a text or pictures are not visible, proceed as follows:

1. Open a file via Advanced conversion > Import Images to New OCR Project. 
2. Recognize the file (make sure that the correct recognition language is selected).
3. Delete the unnecessary areas by right-clicking on them and selecting Delete Area:
   
4. Export a PDF file by clicking on Export > PDF.
   

   Note: Select the Text and pictures only option under the document Layout. Other Layout options are not applicable for this scenario.
