Symptoms

When opening FineReader PDF on the workstation, the following error message occurs:
There are no licenses available on the server <server name>.

Cause

It might happen that the software was installed locally, not from the Administrative installation point. 

Resolution

In case the product should be deployed in LAN, it is necessary to perform the installation from the administrative installation package. Please follow the steps from this article: Deploying FineReader PDF in LAN (installation on more than one computer)
