There are no licenses available on the server <server name> in FineReader PDF on the workstation

Symptoms

When opening FineReader PDF on the workstation, the following error message occurs:
There are no licenses available on the server <server name>.

Cause

It might happen that the software was installed locally, not from the administrative installation point. 

Resolution

In case the product should be deployed in a LAN, it is necessary to perform the installation from the administrative installation package. Please follow the steps from this article: Deploying FineReader PDF in LAN (installation on more than one computer)
