Symptoms

When trying to upload the file that is larger than 100 MB for the online recognition (preserve text formatting) in the FineReader PDF for Mobile application, the following warning message appears:

Error 200: File size should not exceed 100 MB.

Cause

The document processing is taking place within the FineReader Online cloud-based service that has a limitation in size of the file - 100 MB for one file. Thus, the application warns that the larger files can not be processed using the online recognition mode.

Resolution

As a workaround, we can recommend selecting the offline recognition mode (plain text) for the file.
