How to export stamps and signatures to a new computer after the FineReader PDF reinstallation?

Answer

If stamps and signatures were created with FineReader PDF, and the program folders of the old copy of the software were not removed from the old computer, the stamps and signatures may be exported to a new computer as follows:

Text stamps and signatures: 

1. Go to C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\ABBYY\FineReader\<version>\PDFTransformer.
   Please note that the AppData folder can be hidden.
   
2. Copy the transformer.options.xml file and replace it in the same folder on a new computer.

The text stamps and signatures will be available in FineReader PDF with the custom settings: font, font size, and color.

Image stamps and signatures:

1. Go to the folders:
   C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\ABBYY\FineReader\<version>\PDFTransformer\stamps
   C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Roaming\ABBYY\FineReader\<version>\PDFTransformer\signatures
   Please note that the AppData folder can be hidden.
2. Copy and transfer the files to a new computer to any folder.
3. The image files have to be added to FineReader PDF manually:

For stamps: open a document in the PDF Editor > click the Stamps button > click Create Stamps from Image... > Open > select the image transferred from the old computer.

For signatures: open a document in the PDF Editor > go to the Security tab > click Signature > Create Signature from Image... > Open > select the image transferred from the old computer.
