Symptoms

Required languages are selected in the FlexiLayout, FlexiCapture project, and document definition, but selecting the region on a document for quick fill-out results in the extraction of wrong symbols.

Cause

Required languages are not selected in the properties of the field in the document definition.

Resolution

1. Open your Document Definition.
2. Open the properties of the Field that should extract special letters.
3. Navigate to the Data tab.
4. Press "Edit..." in the Data type section.
