An error The file * has access restrictions will appear during the processing.

Cause

FineReader Engine will not be able to process PDF files if it has the following limitations:

• Content Copying and Content Copying for Accessibility set to Not Allowed.
• Content Copying and Page Extractionset to Not Allowed.
• Content Copying for Accessibility and Page Extraction set to Not Allowed.
• All 3 are set to Not Allowed.

Resolution

Please use 3rd party tools to modify pdf security settings.
