Symptoms

The following error is thrown in FineReader Engine 12 for Linux: 

Internal program error: ../Src/File.cpp, 101

Cause

The situation is usually related to the fonts in the system or the outdated font base.

Resolution

Optional. Install Windows fonts (if they will be needed in your processing workflow) using the below command: 

sudo apt install ttf-mscorefonts-installer

update font base:

fc-cache -f -v
