Is there any option to disable Automatic Task Receive mode permanently on the "thick" Verification Station?

Answer

There is no way to completely disable the Automatic Task Receive mode.
But we can get as close as possible to this by excluding the options to enable this mode from the interface.

To remove the Auto-Receive button from the Verification station you need:

1. Navigate to: Project > Project properties > General tab > Edit tool > Edit Skin > Toolbar: Tasks.
2. Choose Automatic Task Receive On/Off and delete it from the list:
   
   
   
   The Automatic Task Receive mode menubar option:

   This menubar item can be removed the same way the Automatic Task Receive On/Off button was removed:

   If the Automatic Task Receive mode menubar item and button are disabled, the only way to turn the "Automatic Task Receive" mode on/off that is left is a keyboard shortcut "Alt+G".
   The switch state is saved if the Verification Station closed and opened again, even if the visual components were removed, the switch state can still be changed with the shortcut.
