Question
How to enable and disable 14-day trial period in BCR for iOS and FineReader PDF for iOS applications?
Answer
If you have never subscribed to a yearly Premium account before, you will have the option of getting a free 14-day trial period. Canceling the trial period will immediately disable your subscription. Payment for subscription renewals will be charged to your account within 24 hours period to the end of the current period.
You can disable subscription renewals in your iTunes account settings on your device: How to cancel the subscription to Premium Account in an iOS application?
During trial period the funds might be reserved (not proceeded as a payment), that means that you are able to cancel your subscription. If you cancel the subscription the funds are returned from the reservation (the period in which the funds will be returned depends on your bank). If you have not canceled the subscription in the right way during the trial period the funds from the reservation are transferred as a payment.
Please note, that ABBYY does not have access to your purchase history or payment history.
If you have not canceled the subscription in the right way or the cancellation was made after the trial period, you may apply for a refund.
