Symptoms

During recognition an error message occurs:

The dictionary file format is out of date: C:\Users\xxx\AppData\Local\Temp\xxxxx.tmp.

Cause

The document definition created in the older version of FlexiCapture 12 is using some dictionary that is not compatible with the current technologies. 

Resolution

• Open a document definition in the editor mode.
• Do not do anything.
• Close it.
• It will ask to publish changes anyway (FlexiCapture 12 will detect the problem dictionary and make a conversion automatically).
• Re-recognize a document.
