Symptoms

The following error occurs during the installation:

Error 1722.An error occured with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action Launch_regsvr32_RS.MapiConnector.x64.dll_64, location: C:\Windows\system32\, command: regsvr32.exe /s "<InstallationPath>\RS.MapiConnector.x64.dll"

Cause

This issue might occur because of the corrupted distribution kit. Also make sure that you run the installer with administrator privileges.

Resolution

• Run the setup as an administrator.
• If it does not help, re-download an installation pack again and try again.
• Make sure to follow the installation guide.
