Question
Is it possible to restore documents in FineReader PDF for Android in case the app was reinstalled?
Answer
You can restore the documents in the app only if you set the automatic upload to the Google Drive cloud storage (FineReader PDF > Menu > Settings > Cloud Storage > Automatic upload) or sent the documents to the cloud manually. In this case, the documents were uploaded to the FineReader folder on Google Drive.
To import a document from Google Drive into FineReader PDF application:
- Go to the FineReader folder on Google Drive;
- Tap the three dots icon next to a document;
- Select Send a copy > select FineReader app.
A document will be displayed in the list of the scanned documents in FineReader PDF.
Additionally, if you enabled the option Save the original file in FineReader PDF settings and you did not delete those images from your phone's gallery, you can find them in the gallery and import them to FineReader PDF once again and recognize them.

Hi,
I can not find the option Send a copy > select FineReader app on the Google drive under the three dots menu. The app is saving fine to its folder though.
