Images in PDF file are blurred after processing in FineReader PDF 15

Symptoms

After processing a file in FineReader PDF 15 the images look blurred.

Cause

The cause can be the MRC setting. If this option is selected, images will be compressed using Mixed Raster Content (MRC) compression. MRC compression can be used to reduce the size of PDF files, but some images may be blurred.

Resolution

To resolve the issue please do the following: 

1. Open FineReader application.

2. Go to Tools > Options > Format Settings.

3. In PDF Settings disable the Use MRC compression option:

4. Click OK.

5. Process the document again.
