We want to remove some special characters from the field. If we set up Content settings rules in the document definition, then why when we change the field manually on the verification station FC12 applies the AutoCorrect Option?

Because FC12 will use and apply Content settings rules before the recognition of the document. These rules are not applied after the recognition and after the changes in the recognized document.

If you want to change this field manually on the verification, it would be needed to use the AutoCorrect option with all the special characters that you want to exclude because these rules could be applied after the recognition and manual verification of the document.
