Issue

The same page is automatically scanned twice in the application.

Cause 

If Autocapture and Multipage modes are enabled and the camera is pointed at the same page, the application may take multiple pictures of the page.

Resolution

Please turn off the Autocapture mode when taking a photo in FineReader PDF. After the photo is taken, check the crop quality.

    Even with Multipage turned off, my iOS version on an iPhone 12 (with most recent OS) still clicks twice for every page I scan, so I get two pages. 

    This seems like a bug: is it being fixed?

    Apart from that - I like the app very much.

    Hello Malcolm,

    To fix the issue you need to disable Autocapture mode not Multipage. Could you please check your settings once more?

    Hi Victoria - oh yes, I misread that.

    I like autocapture - it's a time-saver. Does that mean this feature is "broken" in iOS?

    If so, will it be fixed?
