Import error: The mail folder %foldername% was not found on mail server.

Symptoms

During import from the mailbox or new import profile adjustment, the error message "The mail folder %foldername% was not found on mail server" is shown.

Cause

The Exceptions or Processed folder required for mail import was not selected correctly.

Resolution

In this case, you should make sure that folder Exceptions / Processed indicated in the import profile  are exactly matching the really existing folder inside the mailbox:
