How to change the date format for output file names in Hotfolder?

Answer

The date and time formats can be changed in Windows settings and that data format will be used in ABBYY Hot Folder:

1. Close ABBYY FineReader 15 and exit ABBYY Hot Folder.
2. Go to Windows Settings.
3. Click Time & Language > Date & Time.
4. Choose Date, time, & regional formatting > Change data formats.
5. In the Short date drop-down menu choose the format YYYY.MM.DD. 
6. Afterward please start ABBYY Hot Folder and check the date stamp on the Step 4. The date should be displayed the same as in the system.
