I want to publish a document definition, but it shows an error:

Error: (403) Access denied. Contact your administrator.

Answer

Basically, this error means that this user does not have the required permissions to edit the project. Provide the user with Administrator or Project Settings Editor rights in Administration and Monitoring Console > Settings > Users:
