When saving a file in FineReader the following error occrurs: "The system cannot find the file specified" (OneDrive integration)


When saving a file to a default folder in FineReader PDF 15 you get the error message:

The system cannot find the file specified.


The situation may be caused by removing the OneDrive folder that was chosen as a default one in FineReader PDF 15. 


  1. Close FineReader;
  2. Reinstall OneDrive on your device to make the default folder available again; 
  3. Restart the computer;
  4. Open FineReader and try to save a file again.
