Symptoms

In FlexiCapture 12 Distributed, when executing FCAdminTools command SyncTrainingBatches  with Batch IDs list specified, the operation fails with the error:

The batch IDs are ambiguous. Note: Batch IDs can be specified only with the CopyTrainingBatches parameter set to LayoutOnly or ClassifierOnly.

Cause

Invalid command syntax.

Resolution

The following approaches can be used to resolve the issue:

1. Add /CopyTrainingBatches parameter to the command and set the parameter value to either LayoutOnly or ClassifierOnly according to the actual purpose.
2. Use only non-ambiguous batch IDs for the /BatchIDs parameter value.
