How to install the retail version of FineReader PDF for Mac on the Mac computer? 

Answer

In order to install the application on Mac, please follow the steps below: 

  1. Download the installation file for FineReader PDF for Mac: FineReader PDF for Mac download link;
  2. Go to the Downloads folder; 
  3. Find the downloaded *.dmg installation file; 
  4. Double-click it; 
  5. The following window will open:
    mceclip0.png
  6. Drag the FineReader PDF icon to the Applications folder.

    Hallo, bei mir funktioniert dieses Vorgehen nicht, da beim Öffnen der dmg-Datei sich nichts öffnet.

    Hello, I just installed FineReader PDF from the App Store on my Apple MacBook Pro (M3 Pro, macOS Sonoma 14.1), but the software won't start. It displays the following message. I have contacted the service desk regarding this issue. Do you know how this issue can be quickly fixed?
