Symptoms

After a document with the white background and text in black has been converted, the background became black and the text is white in the resulting document.

Cause

The issue may be caused by the setting Fix inverted colors on image in the Image preprocessing settings. 

Resolution

To fix the issue disable the setting as described below:

1. Start FineReader PDF 15 > go to the Tools menu > select Options... > the Image Processing tab;
2. Click the Show custom settings button > disable the option Fix inverted colors on image;
3. Click OK to save changes;
4. After the settings are changed, please try to convert the document anew.
