How to save a PDF document to the HTML format using command-line interface in FineReader PDF 15 Standalone license?

Answer

To convert the PDF document to the HTML format with the command line, follow the steps:

  1. Open the command line interface by pressing the Win+R key combination > enter cmd and click OK.
  2. Enter a command for converting the documents, and press the Enter key.
    For converting to the HTML format, use the command /send WebBrowser. 
    (For example: “C:\Program Files (x86)\ABBYY FineReader 15\FineReaderOCR.exe” "C:\Users\%username%\Desktop\%document name%.pdf" /lang English /send WebBrowser).
  3. The document will be exported and opened in the default browser.
  4. Then save the document: go to the opened document in the browser and click CTRL+S > choose the format and save the document:
