I have a question regarding the scaling of the cloud environment. We will be processing around 1.5K pages per day, after the 3 months pilot phase we will be increasing the volume to around 3K/day.
Do we need to communicate when this happens to the Support team, so that ABBYY can upgrade the infrastructure behind the scenes, or is this automatically taken care of?
We have a solution in place that allows the implementation of automatic scaling of the processing stations pool. The metrics used for scaling are the workload of the processing stations pool and the length of the task queue. When a large chunk of workload arrives, new processing stations will be added after a few minutes. So customers usually do not have to notify the Support before increasing the page load. The system will auto-scale automatically.
