Saving a file in image formats in FineReader PDF

Question

How to save a file as an image, e.g. in JPEG format?

Answer

FineReader PDF supports the JPEG image format as the export file format. You can check all the supported image formats in FineReader PDF 16 specification.

To save a file in JPEG format, please follow the steps below:

  1. Start FineReader PDF and select the Open PDF Document task.
  2. Select a document you need to convert to the image format.
  3. In the main menu, click the drop-down list Save As and select Page Images...
Or go to the File menu > Save As > Page Images...
  4. In the Save Pages as Images window, select JPEG (.jpg, .jpeg) > specify the file name > click the Save button.

You can also save the file as an image in the OCR Editor: open the file in OCR Editor > go to the File menu > select Save As > Page Images... > select the appropriate image format > click Save.
