QR Code barcode type is greyed out in the properties of the barcode element

Symptoms

When trying to set up a QR Code barcode type for an element in FlexiLayout Studio, it is greyed out in the elements' properties > Barcode tab > Barcode type.

Cause

The Extract 2D barcodes: Data Matrix, Aztec, QR Code is not enabled in the FlexiLayout properties.

Resolution

Navigate to FlexiLayout > Properties > Advanced Pre-recognition Properties > Advanced tab.

Enable Extract 2D barcodes: Data Matrix, Aztec, QR Code and apply the changes.
