Is it possible to separate the text and footnote and save them separately in FineReader?

Answer

You can try to define the corresponding recognition areas manually:

1. Draw the text area for the Main text manually in OCR Editor.
2. Recognize the area.
3. Save results to TXT or any other format.
4. In the same OCR Editor right-click on the text area and select Delete areas and text.
5. Draw the text area for the footnotes.
6. Recognize the page with a new area.
7. Save results to TXT or any other format.
